Budgetary support program for the Economic Recovery (PABRE) – Burundi
The programme aims at fostering the upgrading of internal and external PFM’s control systems. As a first step a diagnostic survey on the current organization is carried on. Then the programme forsees a support strategy to strengthen internal and external control systems according to the reccommendations stemming from the diagnostic survey. Technical Assistence is also provided to the Ministry of Finance to help it performing Public Finance Controls according to the PFM national strategy and the Action Plan 2009-2011.
The total budget for the Programme on 417 130 USD includes inter alia support to the SAI.
