The coaching leadership program is a leadership-training programme for experts in the public sector aiming at enhancing their coaching leadership skills. The main goal of the program is to develop leadership skills, especially coaching leadership. In addition to leadership skills, the program also supports the development of the participant’s coaching skills and self leadership skills. The program is implemented by apprenticeship training; the participants are trained while working. In addition, all the participants have individual qualification modules. At the end of the programme, the participants complete a degree. The program is free of charge for the NAOF due to the apprenticeship training. During the 15-month program, the participants accumulate their experience in managerial roles, train their leadership skills in external leadership training and get support and coaching. The participants have personal mentors from the NAOF who support their development in their managerial roles. The nine participants for the program were selected based on their applications and role in the organization.
