Strengthen the technical capacity of the National Auditor General of Argentina
The primary objective of this project is to improve the technical capacity of the SAI of Argentina (Auditoría General de la Nación) in performance auditing by:
1. Updating their auditing standards by incorporating the new INTOSAI standards (ISSAIs);
2. Establishing a continous training program for staff; and
3. Developing new audit guidelines and manuals.
