Strengthening Brazil’s Subnational Audit
The development objective of the grant was to strengthen three more-developed state audit organizations (Tribunal de Contas or TCEs) to (i) improve their audit and control over sub-national expenditures and (ii) leverage their capabilities to provide cost-effective training, TA and knowledge transfer to other, lesser-developed TCEs.
