Support to the Implementation of the Lao PDR 7th National Socio-Economic Development Plan (2011-2015)
The support aims at strengthening the State Audit Office, including the establishment of SAO’s regional offices and the preparation for both revenues auditing and government financial auditing.
Among the objectives there is also the development of an ICT (Information, Communication and Technology) strategy and of stronger relationships with the National Assembly Economy planning and Finance Commitee and with the Ministry of Finance. Training and equipment will also be provided.
The total budget for is 19,5 mill USD which includes inter alia support to the SAI.
