The Swedish National Audit Office (Swedish NAO) and the Office of the Auditor General of Uganda (OAG Uganda) have been cooperating since 2013. Phase I of the cooperation (2013 – 2016) was evaluated in 2017. The same year, the partners agreed to launch phase II of the bilateral cooperation, “Enhancing Quality and Communication”, the duration of which is 1 April 2017 – 31 of December 2020. Phase II covers support to the OAG Uganda in the fields of:

  • Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAC);
  • Value for Money Audit (VFM);
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement (Communication)
