Performance audit project in oil and gas industry
The purpose of the project is to further improve the quality of performance auditing activities in the field of extractive industries (oil and gas) by the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) of Tanzania, Mozambique and Kenya and to stimulate further capacity building and knowledge distribution in the region.
Six performance audits (including a parallel audit) in the oil and gas industry will be conducted with the support of the Netherlands Court of Audit. Three regional meetings will take place during the project in order to promote exchange of knowledge. Furthermore, an online learning tool will be developed in cooperation with AFROSAI-E, in order to share the acquired knowledge with other SAIs.
