The BUSS initiative successfully launched its pilot phase with a workshop in the CREFIAF region at the end of October 2022.

Along with the IDI team, 15 SAIs and 5 donor organisations and implementing partners sat together and discussed their priorities, potential synergies and ways of collaboration within the region to allow achievement of common goals and maximize SAI support. As some participants commented, the workshop also proved fruitful in setting up a space to hear experiences from other peers and partners, especially on how to understand the rationale for deciding on external support and how to overcome contextual challenges that may hinder intended results in strategic partnerships.

The BUSS is on its way to the OLACEFS region in 2023! Be ready, colleagues, to join in the journey!
